PARIS

Leif and I took a trip to Paris this past week! Paris is one of those places that is just so magical. No matter how many times I come back, I am always in awe. I'm not going to go into too much detail about our trip-because we vlogged every day. You can watch Part 1 and Part 2 if you want to see everything we did! We are working on a little Paris Travel Diary video right now as well. :)

One of my most frequently asked questions is "What camera equipment do you bring when you travel?" We just purchased the Canon 2.8 16-35 mm lens and I am obsessed with it!! Game changer for traveling. The wide angle is amazing-It was so fun to be able to take high quality selfies of the two of us (you will see quite a few of them in this post!) . It just adds a whole new element and I really love it. The widest lens I have ever owned is a 35 mm so this one is a big change but I really can't recommend it enough.

This trip was kind of last minute, and none of the Airbnb's that I had on my wish list were available. We ended up booking this one, and I am SO glad we did! It totally exceeded my expectations. First off, the bed was surprisingly comfortable (especially for just being a pull out couch!) I don't know if I was just exhausted, but I slept really well. Also, the view was incredible! I mean really in Paris you can't go wrong, but it was awesome. There was also a rooftop area we climbed onto and there was a great view of the Eiffel Tower.

It was very centrally located (REALLY close to the Arc) so we basically just walked everywhere which was amazing and definitely saved us money.

The weather was kind of chilly and rainy which was a bummer-we definitely want to go back in the summertime! It was a short trip (our trips usually are because we always have booked jobs in California that we have to get back for!), but I am so happy we went!! We are going to two more countries this month for work (one for a bridal film and one for a wedding film), so there will definitely be more travel vlogs/blog posts to come.

If you are interested in any of the outfits I wore on our trip, I have linked some of the items at the end of this post! I got a tonnn of questions on IG about my Free People loafers. I have the white/gold ones but the other colors are so cute too! Also, I wore these all day at a wedding I shot last week and all day walking around Paris and they didn't give me any sort of blisters or issues. SO comfortable!

I gave my site a makeover this weekend! I felt like my old site wasn't very easy to navigate and was confusing with all my photography work + personal stuff thrown on there. From now on this site will be my personal/fashion/travel blog and a new photography site will be coming soon. I am excited to have everything separated and more organized! Hope you guys had a wonderful week. xo
